Now it's time to get ready to go to a beer festival.
I just think of it as carb loading.
"Brian, your marathon is in November."

as well-earned a brew as I've ever partaken of.)
You carbo load BEFORE the run (preferably 12 hours - so that makes Friday night's binge ideal for Saturday's morning run)!
