Mixed Messages

I got up this morning and ran 10 miles.

Now it's time to get ready to go to a beer festival.

I just think of it as carb loading.

"Brian, your marathon is in November."

"Shut up! It's still carb loading!"

(This isn't from beerfest. This is my first post-race beer from Shamrock Marathon,
as well-earned a brew as I've ever partaken of.)

  1. You carbo load BEFORE the run (preferably 12 hours - so that makes Friday night's binge ideal for Saturday's morning run)!
